Full Marble Bathroom Refit

The brief was to take an underwhelming 1990s ensuite and rebuild it as a principal bathroom that read as one continuous piece of stone. We stripped the room back to brick, re-routed waste-pipe falls so the new wall-hung WC and pedestal basin could sit flush against book-matched marble panels, and laid out the tile pattern on paper before a single panel was cut.

The mirror over the basin sits flush in the marble. The shower is in the same family of stone. The floor is large-format porcelain in a tone that picks up the cooler veins. The result reads as one room, not seven separate finishes.
