What we know about renovating in Sandyford.

Sandyford is one of the south Dublin postcodes where the housing has aged into the renovation cycle. The 1970s and 1980s semis off Blackthorn Drive and around Sandyford Hall were built to a different insulation standard than current regs, and most of them are now on their second or third generation of owners. That makes Sandyford one of our most active areas for full renovations, attic conversions and rear extensions.

On the newer estates running into Stepaside and Carrickmines the story is different — well-built but conservatively finished houses where clients want to add bespoke fitted joinery, open up the ground floor, and bring the lighting and kitchen up to the standard the rest of the house already supports. Both kinds of projects sit comfortably in our scope.

Sandyford is easy logistics for us — we are in and out of the area constantly, the materials suppliers we use most are nearby, and we know which street parking and skip permit rules apply.
