Slatted Oak Acoustic Bedroom Feature Wall

Full-height slatted oak acoustic feature wall behind the bed, paired with a soft sage accent wall. The slats give the room warmth and absorb sound, softening a space dominated by hard surfaces.

Full-height oak acoustic slat feature wall behind an upholstered bed with walnut bedside cabinet

Acoustic slatted walls have become a signature of contemporary Dublin bedrooms and they suit rooms where the headboard wall wants more than paint, without committing to wallpaper or panel mouldings.

The slats are oak on a black acoustic substrate, set out floor-to-ceiling so the bed and bedside cabinet sit cleanly within the slat field. Bedside socket and reading-light back-boxes are run inside the wall before the slats go up so nothing surface-mounts onto the timber.
