Marble-Panel Hallway with LED Strip Detail

A circulation hallway rebuilt as a feature space — full-height marble-effect porcelain on the long walls, a herringbone wood-effect inset opposite, and LED strip cove lighting running the full length of the ceiling.

Narrow hallway wrapped in marble-effect porcelain panels with herringbone wood inset and continuous LED strip cove lighting

The original hallway was the typical narrow circulation space — white walls, herringbone parquet, a single pendant fitting and a radiator with shoes stacked on it. The brief was to turn the longest unbroken sightline in the house into a feature in its own right.

The long walls are wrapped in book-matched marble-effect porcelain, the opposite wall carries a herringbone wood-effect inset that frames the entry into the dining room, and a continuous LED strip is set into a slim cove channel running the full length of the ceiling. The lighting is dimmed at a single switch at each end of the run so the hallway can hold a quiet evening scene without anyone touching a downlight.
